PCS: Personal Care Service
Helping to meet the needs of children and adults in the home.
Our agency has provided services to children in the community for over 20 years. We have a great team with a lot of experience to meet your individual needs. We also provide services under the children’s enhancement project.
Children’s Personal Care Services (PCS) are available to assist in the home. This service is for children that need additional assistance with activities of daily living. To request this service please call LTC at 208-455-7150 and ask for a Nurse Reviewer to contact you for an assessment. A nurse reviewer will meet with you and determine if your child qualifies for this service.
If your child qualifies you will be asked to choose an agency. As soon as the nurse reviewer receives the choice form, they forward the assessment to the agency. Then the Nurse Supervisor from our agency will meet with you to develop a plan for your child.
The attendant can assist with activities of daily living including dressing/undressing, hand washing, bathing, personal hygiene including tooth brushing, nail care, hair care or shaving, mobility, transfers, feeding, medical needs or behavioral needs and housekeeping. The Nurse Reviewer will determine if your child qualifies for in home training on skill development. If this is approved, you will receive assistance from a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional to develop programs and train your attendant on the programs.
Our agency has provided services to adults in the community for over 20 years. We have a great team with a lot of experience to meet your individual needs.

If you qualify you will be asked to choose an agency. As soon as the nurse reviewer receives the choice form, they forward your assessment to our agency. At that time, we will begin to work with you. Our RN Supervisor will meet with you to write a plan for the attendant that will come to your home.
